    Wilsons Prom Country

    Misty Morning over Wilsons Promontory

A Fare With Nature @ Prom Road Farm will be closed until perhaps early November.  I have the privilege of caring for my 91yo mother .  Mum will have an assessment done, but she is very happy for the time being with me at A Fare With Nature.  My apologies for any inconvenience to potential guests.

As well as caring for Mum, the driveway is being upgraded which will take time and seems to not be a high priority on this 900 cow dairy farm, with autumn calving, winter calving and paddock renovations etc. etc.

Hi and welcome to A Fare With Nature @ Prom Road Farm website.  If you are time poor, some important details: $130 per couple per night with a minimum of 2 night farm stay.  Because we can accommodate up to 10 persons, there is a minimum booking of 2 couples and a minimum of three couples over long weekends.  Over Christmas and Easter holidays, a minimum of 3 couples for your 3 night stay. Enjoy brilliant views of over Wilsons Promontory and Corner Inlet whilst relaxing on your upstairs balcony, from your living room, or walking the 2 and half acre edible gardens. We are disabled friendly and  a chair lift is installed from ground floor to first floor for family gatherings.  Meet Phillip and Sharon with their twin lambs, one black and the other white.  Take time out for a guided tour of a 60 cow rotary dairy milking. Tidal River, settlement on Wilsons Promontory, is a 45min. drive and home to brilliant walks and 2 pristine beaches, Sandy Point and Waratah Bay are a 15 min. drive.

Ideal Prom Country location for groups of family/friend holidays and  weekend getaways. An great location, 9 kms from Foster township, to take advantage of the many day trips available: Agnes Falls and Port Welshpool, Tarra Valley National Park, Phillip Island, Wilsons Promontory National Park and the walks within, local wineries, Walkerville lime kilns or our pristine beaches.

Meet and greet Phillip, then take your selfie with Phillip or meet Sharon with her two lambs, one black, the other, white.
