Fish Creek Tea Cosy Festival

THE FISH CREEK TEA COSY FESTIVAL

What can I tell you about Fish Creek??  A charming town surrounded by dairy farms in  South Gippsland’s undullating landscape.  If one is driving along South Gippsland highway and turns to Wilsons Promontory from Meeniyan, Fish Creek is the town prior to Wilsons Promontory, then Yanakie.

I have a copy of Maudi Thomson’s A Tale of Two Halls and it would seem that the town of Fish Creek settlement took place in 1884, but not quite sure why, unless I read on, but won’t at present.

Anyways, come celebrate with Fish Creek towns people and enjoy all that these enthusiastic locals are putting on for the general public.

This Festival embraces the many different visual and performing arts enjoyed in Fish Creek, held over 10 days beginning 16th May and ending Sunday 25th May
